Summer Breeze...

At last the sun seems to have arrived,
but being the UK,
this doesn't always mean that it's here to stay.
Still, the sunshine is just wonderful and definately puts a different outlook on things.
It even affects my color choice for paint and papers, and when there's a little breeze to take away some of the heat, there's nothing better, especially if you're waiting for paint to dry.
(and that only took seconds)

Here's what came with the sunshine...
LOVE the colors so much,
I've already made another four.

They're both 6" x 6" on woodblocks
(my new favorite base to work on)

the sunshiny chicks on my table

I'll be adding the originals and prints to my shop.

And you know if the sun is shining then
you GOTTA have
ICE CREAM

Hi Emily,
I'm glad you like the girls, and yes that Little Miss with the ice cream is my favorite too (even if she does get it everywhere).

Thank you Jenny, I used some real summery papers in the collage background and that gave them this real summery feel, I'm really pleased how they turned out.

I know, how fast has that year gone, but look how much we have BOTH been creating. It's been a real blessing to be able to do this, and have a friend like you.

Hi Lynn,
oh yes it was lovely, the ice cream man stops outside our door every week... great for ice cream but bad for my waistline.
I'm glad you like the summery girls, I love the backgrounds too.
